hello philippines! how was your day? nice, nice. good to hear you’re available to have me for a month. right i’m just here to visit boracay. oh? i didn’t know he reserved me a place at La Carmela. OOOH you brought me a photo of what it looks like? lets have a look see.

that looks aweesome! it has a pool, and it’s got a buffet in the mornings and at night. plus, it’s right infront of the beach ahaha, lovely. mm okay, i’m flying soon. i heard the travel was 15 mins, so yay! write back soon, guys. byyyyyee

heh, got you there. that was how i got here [Boracay] in the first place. so, actually, i’ve been here already for two days. i got to rent a laptop so, i’ll write about what my family and i did yesterday. exciting stuff ;D
dad got to chat with a few people and got us to ride boat around boracay for a day. which includes the scuba diving and the feeding of fishies besides sightseeing.
here’s a map :-

La Carmela [the place we stayed at] was at station 2. we went around the island counterclockwise.
boracay has the most beautiful water i’ve ever seen. the water is so crystal blue. so clear that you can see the shapes of the corals if they weren’t too deep. the sun’s light bounced off the top of the water and made it look like tiny diamonds. by golly, i still have the image of it in my mind. who wouldn’t want to remember what it looked like? .. i don’t have a photo of it though D:
oh, they can’t put an anchor down, since it destroys the corals. so, we had to look for this floaty thing and tied the rope that was attatched on it to our boat. okay, it’s called a buoy. there are plenty of those ready-anchored … anchors. anyway, we got to a scuba diving spot, tied the rope to our boat and went on a feeding spree! We were surrounded by many schools of fish during the feed – they must really like bread. later on, my brother and i got adventurous and started swimming far from the boat. if only i had gotten a water proof camera. the corals were real pretty. all of them of different shapes and sizes sheltering not only more fish but sea urchins and eels too. starfish would be seen comfortably resting on top of random rocks as the light from the surface reflected off them. occasionally, my brother and i would usually tugg each other and point in excitement to the stuff we would see. this time it was more of a shake rather than a tugg as i swam over a blue striped snake. so we had to get back because mom was scared to death that we’d get bitten and die. mm, oh and guess what — we found nemo too!
afterwards, we went around the other side of boracay which was just mostly sight seeing. we saw a rock which was called crocodile island because, it looked like a crocodile head. there were people windsurfing, hotels underconstruction, and we saw the house of Manny Pacquiao or “PacMan” as how the foreigners call is since they can’t say his last name right. He’s a Philippino celeb, but not like in acting or anything. He’s a professional boxer. mm anyway, it was around 4 pm when we got back. we walked around the beach and tried, really hard to skim board. gah, epic fail.
we had a buffet dinner not far from LaCarmela afterwards. the food was gooood. if ever you go to the Philippines, you gotta try some Filipino food. whatever it is, trust me – it’s good. besides food from “our kind”, they served some western ones as well [for the toursists i guess]. Then we walked around the beach some more and had a photo with a sand castle. it’s really nice, except we had a hard time taking the photo ‘cuz they used candles to try and light up some spots. It was windy though so, we spent a lot of time getting a good one without the fire going out. just check it out :-
i’ll get back at you guys tomorrow. see ya ;D
